The game has Incoming War is a vehicle simulator combining elements of a builder and real-time strategy where you become the commander for one of two belligerent robotic factions. As the main supervisor of their forces and the one in charge of a base known as "Nexus 44", you'll be fighting, collecting resources, exploring, and of course taking control of vehicles manufactured in facilities of our own making – all of this set in post-apocalyptic times.

Incoming War takes place in a very distant feature where humanity had been decimated long before and cybernetic lifeforms took over as the rulers of Earth. In the first days of the war it was man who first faced off against machine, but after humanity's defeat, the robots began to fight amongst themselves.
Your main goal is the development of your base and the production of combat units that will allow you to defend your city and in turn assault the enemy's compound. The game starts with several basic structures, i.e.:
The Nexus – your headquarters and the heart of your base,
Barracks – increases population,
Defense turrets – targets aerial and ground hostiles,
Refinery – extracts resources needed for assembling additional units.
These buildings will be the foundation for further development of your base and the choice of producing units to be controlled in TPP. You'll mainly use turrets to defend your base while the offensive will make use of various mobile battle vehicles, capable of long-range travel.
Another important matter is the production and management of automatons responsible for collecting the parts of destroyed machines and constructing new buildings from available materials. These units will essentially serve as the lifeblood of your entire operation and their number will always be under your control via the Nexus.
Aside from building up your base, the main goal of the game will be to vanquish the enemy Nexus which constitutes a threat to your faction. In this time of incredible threat, will you be capable of triggering the right survival instincts to bring out your best sense of logistics and piloting deadly machines? You'll find out soon enough because an all-out war is on its way!
